Dear Campus Community,
The University Center will be closed for remodeling from August 1, 2011 to November 30, 2011, with limited availability for the month December 2011. The Campus Bookstore will be open for business during construction; however the Otter Bay Restaurant will be closed until Spring 2012. We realize this may cause some inconvenience for departments who have historically used the University Center for fall events.
If you have used the University Center during this time period and are in need of an event/activity space please continue to use R25 to submit your event request. Once the request has been submitted it will be assigned to one of the University Performances and Special Event Coordinators. The Event Coordinator will work with you to determine what space and options are available. Please note that due to space limitations we would like you to consider alternate options for your event, such as an outdoor event, two day events, flexibility with day/time, and/or moving to a spring date, etc.
If you have any questions regarding the closure please feel free to contact Pat Clausen, University Center Manager pclausen@csumb.edu or 831 582-4219. If you have questions about using R25 or submitting an event request please contact Jay Singh jsingh@csumb.edu or 831 582-5067.
